Brand Photographer Bristol

Documentary brand photography for people who are quietly running good businesses.

Full-length studio portrait of a woman in boots and shawl with dramatic low-key light.
Minimalist living room with white brick wall, grey sofas, and textured wool rug.
Chocolate cake slice with ganache drizzle and shavings arranged on dark wooden surface.

You don’t need to be photogenic for this.

Let me guess. You’ve been putting this off for a while. Maybe since you launched or since the website refresh last year. Maybe since the third time you cropped your friend out of a photo and posted it anyway.

Not because you don’t want the photos.

Because you already know how it’s going to go. You’ll feel awkward. You won’t know what to do with your hands. The photos will come back looking like corporate headshots you didn’t ask for, or, worse, like you’re pretending to be someone you’re not. You’ve seen the LinkedIn versions and the overstyled influencer versions, and neither one feels like you.

So you keep using a selfie, or a photo your friend took at a market, or no photo at all.

“I wasn’t sure what to expect from a yoga portrait session, but Eszter made it feel so easy and natural. She didn’t just snap photos of the poses. She caught the little moments, the calm, the focus, everything that makes yoga so personal to me. It honestly felt like hanging out with a friend who just happened to have a camera. The end result? Photos that are so me.”

A bit about me

I’m Eszter. I’m a Bristol brand photographer with a background in photojournalism and a Master of Arts in Photography. Before I photographed businesses, I worked in fast-moving news environments where you had to read a room in seconds or miss the story entirely.

That’s the skill I bring to brand work. I’m calm on set. I notice things. I won’t ask you to perform for the camera or pretend to be a more polished version of yourself, because that version doesn’t sell anything to anyone, and you already know it.

What I do instead is spend time with you and your business. Your space. Your hands while you work. The way you actually move through a day. And I photograph that.

That’s what brand photography should be.

FAQ

About working with a brand photographer

Brand photography is a set of images made specifically for your business. It usually includes portraits of you, photos of your workspace or studio, your products or your process, and the moments in between. The point is to give you a library of images you can use across your website, social media, press, and marketing, so your business looks like itself and not like a stock photo site.

The Essentials session delivers 40 or more hand-edited images. The Brand Day delivers 80 or more. Both are delivered in a private online gallery with high-resolution downloads. You get full commercial usage for website, social, press, and print included.

A headshot is one strong photo of your face. Useful, but limited. Brand photography is the whole picture. It tells the story of what you do, how you do it, and who you are while doing it. You’ll come away with portraits, behind-the-scenes shots, environment shots, and detail shots, all in your style.

Within 2 weeks of your session. Every image is edited by me, with no outsourcing. If you need a few images sooner for a launch or a press deadline, just say so when you book, and we’ll work out a faster turnaround.

Wear what you actually wear when you’re working. Anything that feels like you and that you can move freely in. Soft tones and layers photograph well. Avoid big logos that aren’t part of your own brand. Once you book, I’ll send a short prep guide with practical notes on colours, layering, and what to avoid.

Yes. Many brand sessions include product and food photography in the same shoot. If your business is mostly food or hospitality-led, the food photography page might be a better starting point. Get in touch, and I’ll point you in the right direction.

Across Bristol, Somerset, and the wider South West. Most sessions happen on location: your studio, your workshop, your kitchen, your favourite cafe, or somewhere outdoors that fits your brand. I’m also happy to recommend a location if you don’t have one in mind.

Regularly. I cover Somerset, Bath, Cardiff, and the wider South West. Travel within 30 miles of Bristol is included in both packages. For anything further, get in touch, and I’ll let you know the details for your specific location.

You and most people I work with. Genuinely. The first 15 minutes are always a bit weird, and then you forget I’m there. My approach is documentary, so I’m not asking you to pose or perform. I’ll prompt gently if it helps, but mostly I’ll be watching and waiting for the good ones to happen on their own. They always do.
