Meet your team

“They made everything feel effortless and fun.”

Hey!

Let me introduce our small but mighty team, who are going to make sure that you’re gonna GODDAMN LOVE your photos!

We’re a real, engaged couple, which means we’ve spent the last eight years learning how to annoy each other, call it out, fix it quickly, and move on. We know exactly how the other one thinks, when to step in, and when to back the hell off. That turns out to be extremely useful on loud, emotional, slightly chaotic wedding days.

Eszter

  • Photographer and founder
  • creative director

I’m deeply drawn to colour, good light, and the moments people don’t realise matter until later. The in-between stuff. The stuff that sneaks up on you.

I’m the photographer behind Emerald Photo UK, and the person you’ll be dealing with from start to finish. I stay steady when things get emotional and pay close attention to what’s actually happening, not what’s supposed to be happening. I don’t rush moments or interrupt real life just to get a photo.

George

  • Ice-Breaker
  • Ligting & Technical support

An accountant in real life, a lighting guide in business, and much funnier than you think.

He’s the person who takes the lighting I picture in my head and turns it into something that actually works.
He knows when a joke will help and when silence is the better move. You won’t see him taking centre stage, because that’s not his thing. He’s there to shape the light, support the energy in the room, and make everything feel a bit easier. Also, much funnier than you’d expect. Don’t let the accountant thing fool you.

As Seen In

“Working with Eszter and George felt easy from the very start. They made us feel comfortable straight away, gave just the right amount of guidance, and kept everything relaxed and fun. The photos reflect exactly how it felt, and we were so happy with the whole experience.”

About Eszter

Your Photographer

I trust instinct and patience way more than control. I care a lot about light and movement, but I care just as much about giving people space. You won’t feel watched, managed, or bossed around every five seconds.

I’m there like a friend with a camera. Paying attention, keeping things calm, and stepping in only when it genuinely helps. I’ll let things breathe, support the flow of the day, and make sure it all comes together without anyone feeling awkward or out of place.

What Fuels Me
The elements that quietly shape my work.

What fuels my work most is presence. When people can stay in the moment instead of thinking about how they look or what they should be doing, something shifts. Shoulders drop. Laughter becomes real. Conversations continue uninterrupted. That’s when things start to feel alive.

I care deeply about protecting that space. My approach is built around letting moments unfold naturally, without pulling you out of them. When you’re present with each other, the day feels richer. And the images that come from that place carry something deeper than surface-level beauty.

I’m endlessly inspired by light and how it moves through a space. Soft morning light, harsh midday sun, low evening glow, shadow, contrast, stillness. None of it needs fixing. It just needs noticing.

I pay close attention to how people move within that light, how a room feels, how energy shifts throughout the day. Those details guide my decisions quietly in the background, shaping images that feel considered and expressive without ever feeling overworked.

Trust changes everything. When people feel safe with me, they stop second-guessing themselves. They don’t wonder where to stand or how to act. They exist as they are.

That ease is something I take seriously. I show up calm, grounded, and attentive, so you don’t have to worry about doing anything right. Being trusted with that level of vulnerability is never lost on me, and it’s what allows the work to feel honest and human.

At the heart of it, I’m inspired by people. Their dynamics. Their humour. Their quiet moments and louder ones. No two people move through a day in the same way, and that difference matters.

I love getting to know who you are beyond the surface. What feels important to you? How you interact when no one’s watching. My aim is always to reflect you, not an idea of what things should look like, but who you actually are.

MY VISION

Photography That Lets Life Happen

That’s why the focus is always on how it feels to be photographed. Feeling safe. Feeling seen. Feeling like you don’t have to do anything “right.” When you’re not worrying about the camera, you can relax into what’s actually happening and stay with each other instead of thinking about how you look.

I’m there to support that, not interrupt it. I’ll step in when it genuinely helps, and stay out of the way when it doesn’t. While you’re living the moment, I’m quietly paying attention to light, movement, and timing, turning what’s real into something that feels human, effortless, and worth coming back to.

“From the moment we met her, she made us feel so relaxed and comfortable; it honestly felt like we were spending time with a friend rather than being in front of the camera.”

EXPLORE

My Journey

2011–2014

Learning everything

I studied photography and worked as a photojournalist, learning how to work fast, pay attention, and get things right without interfering. Being published taught me discipline and respect for real moments. You don’t get to control life in photojournalism. You learn to watch, wait, and respond.

2014–2016

Leaving home

I chose to travel and continue my studies in the UK because I wanted more space to grow. New places, new people, new ways of seeing. Challenging, exciting, and exactly what I needed at the time.

2016–2017

Met the love of my life

In Bristol, I met my fiancé. We’re from the same small village back in Hungary and even went to the same primary school, but somehow life brought us together there. The world feels big until it suddenly doesn’t.

2017–2019

Build from scratch

After graduating, I knew I wanted to build my life in the UK. It felt grounding, like a place where I could settle, keep learning, and do this work in a way that felt honest and sustainable.

2019–Now

Emerald Photo UK

I started my own business because I wanted to photograph people in a way that actually felt good. Weddings quickly became the heart of it, with all their emotion, energy, and beautiful chaos. Alongside that, I photograph families, events, and commercial works, always with the same approach.

to be continued….

“She made me feel comfortable in front of the camera every time.
Her patience, always good mood, smile, and ability to bring out the best in people are a rare gift.”

— Nelli E.

Need to know

FAVORITE DRINK

Coffee

(but I can’t say NO to a good Hendricks & lemonade combo either)

The mornings always start with a latte, either with two sugars or some sugar-free vanilla or hazelnut syrup.

FAVORITE SEASON

Spring

Drawn to the gentle shift of spring, when light softens, colour returns, and everything feels slightly lighter, mirroring a natural preference for calm renewal and understated warmth.

MAIN INSPIRATION

Romanticism paintings

Deeply influenced by the lyrical drama of Romanticism paintings, where emotion, movement, and atmosphere take precedence over perfection, shaping a visual approach rooted in feeling rather than polish.

PERFECT LOCATION

Greece

Constantly inspired by the sun-washed textures, deep blues, and unhurried rhythm of Greece, a place where light, space, and warmth naturally invite presence and creativity.
