Cookie Policy
Last updated 15 October 2026
Hello, and thanks for taking a look. This page explains the small files our website uses, what they do, and how you can change your mind at any time. We’ve kept it as plain as we can.
Who we are
Emerald Photo UK is run by Eszter Szalai, a sole trader based at Filton Avenue, Bristol BS7 0LH. When this page says “we”, it means us. You can reach us at emeraldphotouk@gmail.com or on 07493 299923.
What cookies are
Cookies are tiny text files a website saves in your browser. Some keep the site working. Others help us understand how the site is used, or show our work to people who might like it. Similar tools, like tracking pixels and scripts, work in the same way, so we include them here too.
How we ask
When you first visit, a small window asks what you’re happy with. Essential cookies are always on, because the site needs them. Everything else stays off until you say yes. You can choose Accept, Only essentials, or pick and choose in Preferences.
Changed your mind? Click Cookie settings at the bottom of any page and choose again.
The cookies we use
Essential (always on)
Statistics (only if you say yes)
Marketing (only if you say yes)
Google Tag Manager doesn’t set cookies of its own. It’s the tool that loads the Google Ads and Clarity tags above, and it only runs after you accept marketing cookies.
Google, Meta and Microsoft are based in the United States, so some information may be processed there. They’re certified under the UK–US “data bridge”, which allows this.
Turning cookies off in your browser
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block everything, parts of the site may not work, and we’ll ask about cookies again on your next visit.
Your rights
You can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and withdraw your consent at any time. Just email us. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. We’d love the chance to put it right first, though.
For how we look after the details you send us, please read our Privacy Policy.
Changes to this page
If we add or remove a tool, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
