Starry Night Winter Wedding Editorial at Folly Farm Centre
There’s something about winter that just begs for a little sparkle. So, on a cold December evening, we turned Folly Farm Centre in Somerset into a world of celestial wonder. From deep blues to golden whites, and with soft candlelight flickering everywhere, everything came together to create a wedding scene that felt straight out of a dream.
This Starry Night Winter Wedding editorial was all about reimagining what a winter wedding could be. Instead of frosted tones and festive reds, we leaned into the quiet romance of the night sky. Velvet textures, glowing lights, and shimmering details filled the space. Every element felt intentional: from the star-studded stationery to the pearl-dotted veil and the wild, untamed florals.
Meanwhile, inside the barn, the atmosphere was warm and moody. Candles flickered against the stone walls, while fairy lights draped from the beams. The contrast between the soft golden light and the cool air outside made everything feel even more intimate. The bride’s gown glittered as she moved. The groom’s velvet suit caught the glow perfectly. Together, they brought the entire vision to life.
Behind the Vision of Starry Night Winter Wedding
We wanted to shake up the typical winter wedding scene. So, mixing the crisp magic of the season with the romance of a starlit sky felt like the perfect way to do it. After all, the inspiration came from the stars themselves:timeless symbols of destiny, dreams, and connection. Because of that, every detail was designed to reflect that sense of wonder.
Our goal was simple: to blend the cool serenity of winter with the warmth of night. In the end, the result was something deeply atmospheric, modern, and unforgettable. And even though it was freezing outside, we couldn’t resist taking one last portrait under the dark sky. There, wrapped in each other’s arms beneath the wooden archway and surrounded by silence, they looked like the only two people in the world.
In the end, this shoot was created for couples who want something different. It’s also for those who love the idea of a winter wedding but want to make it their own. Ultimately, it becomes a celebration that feels modern yet timeless, bold yet deeply romantic. Instead of chasing the sun, it shines entirely on its own.
