There’s something really special about a traditional Hungarian village wedding. No big production, no over-the-top styling… just people, culture, and a kind of energy you can’t fake.
Fanni + Zoli chose to celebrate close to home, in the place they grew up, surrounded by family, childhood friends, and people who have been part of their story for years. It felt personal from the very start. Morning prep at home, doors open, loved ones moving in and out, laughter in every room. Intimate, relaxed, exactly how it should be.
Their day followed a beautifully traditional Hungarian flow, with both a church ceremony and a local registry office. Two moments, both meaningful in their own way. You could feel how much it mattered to them to honour their culture, while still keeping everything true to who they are.
Before everything kicked off, we took a few quiet minutes together. Nothing staged, nothing forced. Just the two of them, taking it all in. That little pause before the day unfolds. I always love that part.
And then… the village energy really came through.
The reception was held in a local community centre. Simple space, but honestly, it didn’t need anything more. Because what filled it was unreal. Wedding games, constant laughter, people cheering, dancing, pulling each other into the chaos. That kind of party where no one sits still, and the energy just keeps building.
There’s something about Hungarian weddings… they’re not about perfection, they’re about connection. About tradition, family, and letting go a little.
And this one? Fun, happy, romantic, and completely unforgettable.
