The kind of days you don’t realise you’ll miss

newborn portrait photo session at home with a newborn baby girl and the parents

Real.

Unscripted.

Entirely yours.

A family photography experience that lets you stay present while everything quietly unfolds.

No two families move the same, and no two days ever unfold in quite the same way, which is exactly why your experience is shaped around you from the very beginning. The quiet mornings, the loud laughter, the slightly chaotic, deeply familiar rhythm of your everyday life all deserve to be seen as they are, without interruption or expectation.

You don’t need to prepare your children, manage every moment, or try to create something that looks “right.” You simply get to be there with your people, fully in it, while I gently guide when needed and notice the details that often pass by too quickly.

This is not about perfectly behaved kids or carefully constructed images. It is about holding on to what is already there in a way that still feels honest years from now.

Transforming your messiest, most magical days into keepsakes you’ll treasure for a lifetime.

THIS IS FOR YOU IF…

Your kids don’t sit still (and honestly, why would they?).

You love your family as they are, even when it’s loud, messy, and a little bit chaotic.

Your kids have big feelings, big energy, and their own ideas about everything.

You know these days are slipping by, even if they feel endless right now.

You’d rather have something real than something perfect.

“Eszter is such a talented family photographer. She came to our home for our newborn session and made the whole experience feel so relaxed and lovely, even with a tiny baby and a lively six-year-old in the mix! She was incredibly patient and kind, and somehow managed to capture the most beautiful, natural moments. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for heartfelt family photos.”

Meet Eszter

Hey!

Hi, I’m Eszter. A Bristol family photographer.

I’ve spent years learning how to read people, sense when something matters, when to gently guide, and when to quietly step back and let things unfold. Turns out, that matters a lot when you’re photographing families.

I live and work in Bristol, photographing families across the South West and beyond. I focus on you, your children, and everything that’s happening between you. The way they reach for you, the way you respond, the tiny interactions that don’t wait around or repeat themselves.

I guide when it helps, especially at the beginning when things might feel a bit unfamiliar, and I step back the moment it starts to feel natural. Because that’s when everything shifts, when you stop thinking about the camera and just be together.

You don’t need to perform, fix anything, or try to make your children behave a certain way. You just get to be with them, exactly as you are.

The Experience

Unscripted & Natural

No pressure, no pretending. This isn’t about getting the “perfect shot”—it’s about the real stuff. The giggles during snack time, the wild bedhead cuddles, the way your child clings to your leg mid-chaos. You’ll want to remember these moments, and that’s exactly what we’ll capture.

Tiny Hands, Timeless Memories

The way your little one grabs your face when they’re excited. The lazy Sunday morning light falling on your kitchen table. The sound of your laughter layered over theirs. Those in-between bits—the ones you don’t even realise are golden—make your story so worth telling. And that’s where the real magic lives.

As Original As Your Family

Let’s skip the cookie-cutter family portraits. You’re not like everyone else—and your photos shouldn’t be either. Whether it’s muddy wellies in the garden or blanket forts in the living room, we’ll turn your everyday into forever. Honest, heartfelt, and totally one-of-a-kind—just like your crew.

For families who
Don’t do boring

Your family’s story isn’t posed—it’s lived. It’s the wild mornings, the sleepy cuddles, and the spontaneous dance parties in the kitchen. The little chaos that makes your family yours. You’re not looking for stiff smiles or matching outfits with no meaning. You’re here because you want photographs that feel like home—full of movement, laughter, connection, and soul.

As a lifestyle family photographer in Bristol, my approach is rooted in storytelling. With a background in photojournalism, I don’t direct or interrupt. I simply watch, anticipate, and gently guide when needed—so you can just be you. I capture those blink-and-you’ll-miss-it moments: the way your child looks up at you mid-laugh, the mess, the mayhem, and the magic in-between.

She came to our home for our newborn session and was so calm and patient, even with the usual chaos of a new baby. Nothing felt forced, and she captured the most beautiful, emotional moments that feel us completely. We’re so grateful and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her.”

Frequently asked questions

They don’t need to. Truly.

Family life isn’t calm and perfectly timed, and your photos don’t need to be either. If your child runs off, climbs something, refuses to sit still, or has a full-on meltdown for five minutes, that’s all part of it.

I don’t try to control that. I work around it. I watch, I wait, and I photograph what naturally happens in between. Often, the most meaningful images come right after those moments, when everyone relaxes again.

So there’s no pressure on you to “manage” your kids for me. You get to just be with them.

Most people feel this way at the start, and it’s completely normal. You’re not expected to arrive feeling confident or knowing what to do with your hands.

That’s why I don’t jump straight into photographing. We take a bit of time. You settle in, we chat, and the kids get used to me being there. I move slowly and give you space.

And then something shifts. You stop thinking about how you look. You start focusing on each other instead. That’s when everything softens and starts to feel natural.

You don’t have to fix the awkwardness. It fades on its own.

But I won’t leave you feeling lost either.

I gently guide when needed, usually with small things like where the light is best, or suggesting a simple movement like walking, sitting closer, or interacting with your child. It’s subtle, and it’s always built around what feels comfortable for you.

You don’t need perfectly coordinated outfits or anything overly styled. In fact, the more natural it feels, the better the photos will sit with you in the long term.

Soft, comfortable clothes you can move in tend to work really well. Nothing too tight, nothing you need to keep adjusting. If you feel relaxed in it, it will show.

That might be your home, where everything is familiar and easy. It might be a quiet outdoor space where your kids can run freely. Or somewhere that means something to you as a family.

There’s no “perfect” location. What matters most is how you feel in it.

I take time with the editing process to make sure everything feels consistent, natural, and true to how the moment actually was. Nothing rushed, nothing overdone.
